Transparent PET lid for the bagasse sauce cup (Ø 62 mm)

The transparent PET lid is intended for use together with our bagasse sauce cup with a diameter of Ø 62 mm (60 ml). The lid makes the sauce cup suitable for take-away — it prevents the sauce from leaking during transport and food delivery and allows the sauce to be pre-portioned and prepared in advance. The set “sauce cup + lid” is a practical solution for sushi bars, restaurants and all food service businesses that serve sauces to go.

The transparent material allows the contents and colour of the sauce to be seen without opening the lid — this is convenient both for the customer and for staff assembling orders at the refrigerated case or display cabinet. The tight closing ensures that liquid and semi-liquid sauces (soy sauce, dips, oil-based sauces) do not spill during transport.

The lid is made from PET plastic (polyethylene terephthalate, recycling code 1) — one of the most widely used and best-recyclable plastic materials. Although it is not biodegradable like the bagasse sauce cup, the transparency and rigidity of PET make it possible to offer a functional covering solution where visibility of the sauce and secure closing are needed.
