RPET (Recycled PET) is a plastic material made from the fibres of recycled PET bottles and packaging. Technically, RPET is identical to virgin PET \u2014 the same transparency, rigidity, durability and food safety \u2014 but its production does not require new petroleum-based raw material. The result: a significantly lower carbon footprint (up to 79% lower compared to the production of virgin PET), fewer extraction- and energy-intensive processes, and full recyclability in a closed-loop cycle.<\/p>\n
RPET is certified for food safety (EFSA, FDA) and meets the same standards as virgin PET. The material carries recycling code 1 (the same as virgin PET) and can be recycled in the regular PET container recycling stream.<\/p>\n
Choosing RPET instead of virgin PET is a simple but impactful step towards sustainability. Both products are packed in quantities of 50, which allows you to order the combination 1:1 or adjust the quantities according to how often you actually need a transparent lid \u2014 for example, the box can also be used without a lid for on-site serving.<\/p>\n
