Bagasse sushi tray for larger sets and serving

The bagasse sushi tray, sized 21,6×13,6 cm, is the larger variant of our sushi trays, intended for extended sushi sets, larger portions and two-portion serving on a single tray. The open flat shape of the tray allows dishes to be presented beautifully and works well both for serving on-site and for take-away packaging together with a transparent film or lid.

The product is made from sugarcane bagasse — a natural and renewable raw material that is a by-product of sugarcane processing. The material is fully compostable and biodegradable, offering an eco-friendly alternative to plastic trays.

In terms of size, this tray is an ideal choice for larger sets — for example, 16–20 sushi pieces, combinations of multiple rolls, sashimi sets and bento-style serving. Alongside the standard 18,5×12,8 cm tray, this larger size completes a full line that covers the most common serving formats in sushi bars.

Transport and covering

The tray is supplied without a lid, giving you flexibility to choose a suitable covering solution according to your intended use. For serving in a restaurant or sushi bar, the tray can be presented open, emphasising the visual presentation of the dish. For take-away and food delivery, the tray can be covered with food film, which keeps the food fresh and works well for refrigerated display cases and counters. For larger orders and longer transport we recommend combining the tray with our transparent PET lid in the matching size — it ensures food protection and professional presentation. Choosing a separate lid allows you to optimise storage costs: you buy lids only in the quantity you actually need, and you can use the trays for applications that do not require a cover (for example, serving at the counter or for on-site dining).
