Transparent PET lid for the smallest bagasse sushi tray

The transparent PET lid is intended for use together with our bagasse sushi tray, size 16,4×8,9 cm. The set “tray + lid” provides a professional packaging solution for sushi bars, restaurants, take-away venues and all food service businesses that want to present their dishes in a presentable way — especially small portions, maki rolls, nigiri sets and amuse-bouches.

The main purpose of the lid is to ensure food visibility and presentable display — the clear transparent material allows customers to see the composition of the sushi in the refrigerated case or display cabinet without opening the box. In addition, the lid protects the food during transport, keeps it fresh and prevents leaks and contamination during take-away and food delivery.

The lid is made from PET plastic (polyethylene terephthalate, recycling code 1) — one of the most widely used and best-recyclable plastic materials in the world. Although it is not biodegradable like the bagasse tray, the physical properties of PET (transparency, rigidity, durability) make it possible, in combination with the bagasse tray, to offer a balanced solution — the main food-contact surface is biodegradable, and the lid is recyclable.

This lid is intended for use together with the product Bagasse sushi tray 16,4×8,9 cm (without lid). Both products are packed in quantities of 50, which allows you to order the combination 1:1 (one pack of lids for one pack of trays) or adjust the quantities according to how often you actually need a transparent lid — for example, the tray can also be used without a lid for on-site serving.
